David Masselli has been engaged in the practice of law for thirty years, with an emphasis on complex litigation. Mr. Masselli has conducted trials in federal and state courts, successfully argued appeals before federal and state appellate courts, and participated in cutting edge intellectual property cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Masselli's litigation practice focuses on disputes over intellectual property rights, including the protection of confidential information and trade secrets, representation of both debtors and creditors in chapter 11 bankruptcy, civil and criminal RICO, and  resolution of corporate disputes. He advises businesses on issues arising during formation, tax elections, shareholder relations, and litigation.  

The office is located in Arlington, Virginia, close to Washington, D.C., and convenient to federal and state trial and appellate courts in Virginia, and the District of Columbia, as well as to most federal agencies.

Prior to entering the private practice of law, Mr. Masselli worked for leading public interest organizations, including Friends of the Earth, Common Cause, and Public Citizen. A graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale Law School, Mr. Masselli maintains an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available to a lawyer.
